Sometimes the pieces I really like are just these odd one off pieces that just don’t make as much sense to other people. This is one of those. It reminds me of the big boy burgers when I was a kid. There is a nostalgia to it and the “xx” eyes and down cast curious face. It’s a strange palette and almost and unfinished feel to it. And I just see it as precious and endearing.
To quote a young girl at one of my last eat shows. Art doesn’t have to make sense to be great to look at.
